NAGPAPATULOY ang CineFilipino Film Festival (CFFF) sa pagso-showcase sa mga bagong filmmakers, na nagsimula five years ago.
In-organize ito ng Cignal TV at Unitel Productions, Inc. at sa taong ito, eight feature length films ang napili na pawang magaganda na kinabibilangan ng Delia & Sammy ni Theresa Cayaba, Excuse Me Po ni Ronald Espinosa Batallones, Gusto Kita With All My Hypothalamus ni Dwein Baltazar, Hitboy ni Bor Ocampo, Mata Tapang ni Rod Marmol, Mga Mister ni Rosario ni Allan Habon, Poon ni Ronnie Supangan at The Eternity Between Seconds ni Alec Figuracion.
Ayon sa CFFF Director na si Madonna Tarrayo (Unitel Productions and Straight Shooters President at CEO), excited siya sa iba't-ibang films entries na kanilang napili, "we have five new filmmakers and three who have done feature-length films iniother festivals. With this line up you can expect a roller coaster of emotions in every frame."
Nakipag-partner din ang CineFilipino sa Film Development Council of the Philippines, na ayon kay Cignal TV President na si Jane Basas, importante ang alliance na ito ng CFFF at FDCP na pinamumunuan ni Liza Dino-Seguerra.
Ang opening night at CFFF ay sa May 8 sa Gateway Cinema, 6:00pm. Magsisimula ang festival sa May 9 hanggang May 15. Mapapanood ang feature length films at shorts films at Gateway Cinemas, SM Cinemas (under CineLokal) at Ayala Malls.
Ang grand awards night at gaganapin sa Kia Theater sa May 12.
