THE Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) is pleased to inform the public that it has marked a major milestone having earned the coveted International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 Certification for its Quality Management System (QMS) awarded by TÜV SÜD PSB Philippines, Inc., an accredited international third-party certification body.
ISO 9001:2015 is a globally recognized Quality Management Standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization, it is based on several key quality managementprinciples including a customer-first orientation, motivation, and execution driven by senior management and a process-based approach anchored on continuous improvement.

I attribute this success to our QMS Core team, our employees, and the members of the Board who have worked as one to make this aspiration a reality.” MTRCB Chairperson Lala-Sotto Antonio shared.
The MTRCB received the certification having undergone a series of strict audits conducted by TÜV SÜD PSB Philippines, Inc. amid the challenges of a transitory leadership in 2022.
“This certification is a testament to our commitment to bring delight to our stakeholders by continuously meeting and exceeding their expectations, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.” The MTRCB Chairperson added.
Another component to achieving ISO Certification was the technical assistance given by the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) in developing, expanding, and transitioning the MTRCB QMS certifiable to ISO 9001:2015 standard through the Government Quality Management Program (GQMP). Among other aspiring government agencies who have applied for the GQMP grant, the MTRCB was chosen by the DAP as one of its beneficiaries.
