Anton Paras Drops New Single ‘Binabalewala,’ A Relatable Song For Hopeless Romantics

SINGER-SONGWRITER Anton Paras makes strides in his singing career as he releases his second self-penned song ‘Binabalewala’ under AltG Records.

He composed and wrote the song in mid-2021 about people who make a lot of effort to show their feelings towards their object of affection but to no avail. Anton wanted to write a relatable song, so he wrote this for hopeless romantics.

He also sends a message to all hopeless romantics, “Lagi naman pong may failure. ‘Wag na lang po masyadong dibdibin ang heartbreaks and move on to the next kasi sabi nga po nila ‘There’s a lot of fish in the sea.’”

As a multi-talented artist, Anton continues to explore different song genres, “Gusto ko po maipakita na I can do a lot of genres, na hindi lang po ako pang R&B Ballads. Gusto ko po ma-showcase ‘yung versatility ng voice ko.”

When Anton was still young, he sang songs by The Beatles, Eric Clapton and other old songs.  Until he liked R&B Pop songs of Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber.

During his High School days, he became an 'old soul' because he love to listen to Usher, Boz II Men, Chris Brown, which really had a big impact on his performance.

Anton also admitted that his friends can't believe that he is a certified GMA Artist and releasing a second single under GMA Music after 'All I Need'.

The up-and-coming musician has been noticed for his various OPM and foreign song covers online. His favorite is his version of 'Home' by Michael Buble and 'Pagsamo' by Arthur Nery.  He also released a self-composed acoustic track titled 'Aking Sinta' with a thrilling music video.

His family of singers is also super proud because he is now in the showbiz industry. Even he couldn't believe that his dream of being known as a legit singer was coming true.

"Kaya thankful ako kay God at sa GMA dahil binigyan nila ako ng opportunity to show my talent.  Ang palagi kong iniisip na I have to give my 101 percent para ipakita sa GMA at sa lahat na magaling akong singer and I have what it takes to join the music industry," Anton says.

Don’t miss out on Anton Paras’ ‘Binabalewala,’ which will be available on all digital streaming platforms worldwide on March 31.

And if you want to hear Anton performs live, catch him tomorrow at Pit88 Restobar in Marikina City for his show 'Friday Night's The Night', along with other GMA artists Matt Lozano, Mariane Osabel , Abby Clutario, Janine Tenoso and Wickermoss.

“DUNGEONS & DRAGONS” GETS 100% FRESH RATING, HOLDS SNEAK PREVIEWS MAR 20 & 21

MANILA, March 13, 2023 -- Days after its sensational premiere at the SXSW Festival where it captivated fans and critics, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves will have a two-day special sneak previews in cinemas nationwide this coming Monday & Tuesday, March 20 & 21.

Check out your favorite theaters for the screening schedule and admission prices.

Catch these sneaks and be among the first in the world to see Dungeons & Dragons which will open in the US on March 31st yet.  In the Philippines, it opens wide two days earlier on March 29.

[Watch the film’s Final Trailer below]

A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers undertake an epic heist to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people.  Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary roleplaying game to the big screen in a hilarious and action-packed adventure.

Directed by Jonathan Goldstein & John Francis Daley (Game Night), the film stars Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman, Daisy Head and Hugh Grant.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves currently as a 100% Fresh Rating at the review aggregator site, Rotten Tomatoes.

In its review of the film, Variety writes “Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez and Regé-Jean Page rule in an adventure that turns pop-fantasy derivativeness into its own form of fun.  Dungeons & Dragons should be a major hit, because it knows how to tap into our nostalgia — not just for a game, but for the entire fantasy culture it helped to spawn. It’s the movie itself that’s role-playing.

The Hollywood Reporter, for its part, writes “[T]he highly anticipated Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves exceeded expectations. The [filmmakers] have created an adaptation that will appeal to the nostalgic side of existing fans and entertain those whose eyes glaze over at the mention of Dungeon Masters, bards or druids.

Meanwhile, Mashable raves, “Dungeons & Dragons is the kind of epic fun fans have been waiting for.  Throughout the film, there are moments of life-or-death stakes and even jolting jump scares. But this bounce, this sense of play, helps keep things light and fun so that [the film] might be enjoyed by grown-ups and kids alike.

Finally, The Austin Chronicle admires, “[T]his is D&D, where high weirdness, magical beasts, and terrible, world-ending conspiracies are an everyday matter. Yes, there's an overarching plot, but the path to the end is through a series of encounters, each their own quest.  Each plays out as a glorious set piece - some funny, some clever, some action-packed, some thrilling, and never boring - all executed with the frenetic, giddy energy.
