In “The Comeback Trail”, two movie producers (Robert De Niro and Zach Braff) who owe money to the mob (Morgan Freeman) set up their aging movie star Duke Montana (Tommy Lee Jones) for an insurance scam to try to save themselves. The plan is simple: “accidentally” kill Montana during a stunt and then collect the insurance money.

The big hitch in the plan, however, is that Montana can’t seem to die. In the trailer alone, the washed-up action star hilariously and impressively makes it out alive after each death-defying stunt.

Hollywood screen legends and Oscar winners—Robert De Niro, Tommy Lee Jones, and Morgan Freeman lead the star-studded cast for “The Comeback Trail”. Other cast members include Zach Braff (TV’s Scrubs), Emile Hirsch (Once Upon A Time in Hollywood), Eddie Griffin (Undercover Brother), and Kate Katzman (This Is The Year).

George Gallo directs from a script he wrote with Josh Posner in a remake of Harry Hurwitz’s 1982 film of the same name.

Coming soon to Philippine cinemas, “The Comeback Trail” is produced by Storyboard Media and distributed by Cloudburst Entertainment in the US and TBA Studios in the Philippines.

MYRTLE SARROSA, REMAINS SISTERS’ CELEBRITY AMBASSADOR

2020 may be a hard year, but Myrtle Sarrosa and Sisters Sanitary Napkins and Pantyliners are even tougher, as they continue to forge their bond stronger, with the actress signing up for the third time as the brand’s celebrity ambassador.

Myrtle was still a college student when she was first chosen by Megasoft Hygienic Products Inc., to represent their products for young females in 2016. Four years after and having graduated with honors from the University of the Philippines, Myrtle continues to represent the brand and is signing her third contract with Megasoft this 2020.

"Myrtle continues to exemplify the image of a smart and empowered woman. She strives to be the best in her field and at the same time is a good role model to females everywhere. We are proud to sign Myrtle once again,” shared Miss Aileen Choi Go, Vice President for Sales and Marketing, on the reason why Megasoft is renewing with the actress for the third time.

Meanwhile despite the pandemic, Myrtle and Megasoft persistently work hand-in-hand in spreading the word on good hygiene to the youth through their online platforms on Lazada and Shopee.

Before the community quarantine was put into place by the government, Megasoft was also able to do school tours. The last one, its 86th leg, was held at the Aranguren Integrated School in Capas, Tarlac.

Despite facing challenges at the beginning of the year because of the economic effects of the pandemic, Megasoft is striving hard to remain on top of its field as it celebrates its 20th anniversary this October.

With Myrtle, and its other endorsers Ryle Santiago and Young JV, Megasoft will be steady in its promise of giving quality hygiene essentials to the Filipino, in more years to come.

It will not only generate jobs to my kababayan kundi marami rin ang papasok na turista at businesses pa sa aming lugar,” dagdag pa niya.

Follow safety protocols. Wear mask and face shields. Let’s wash our hands regularly. And practice social distancing.

And let’s not lose hope.

If I may count it mga three times lang akong nakalabas, yung nagtaping ako for 'Wish Ko Lang' and isa pang show.”
