THE Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) celebrates its 32 years of service for the Filipino people through the unveiling of the new Nida Blanca conference room on 05 October 2017. The event was led by Chairperson Rachel Arenas, with Vice-Chairperson Emmanuel Borlaza and other Board Members.
The celebration began with a thanksgiving mass led by Fr. Denmark Malabuyoc from the Order of St. Joseph and attended by the entire staff of the agency as well. Celebrating with MTRCB were the Sisters from the Daughters of St. Paul who were also choir members for the mass.
Following the mass was the blessing and unveiling of the new conference room dedicated to the departed veteran actress and former MTRCB Board Member Nida Blanca.
Present at the launch to witness this event is her daughter Kaye Torres along with other relatives and guests like Chari Villa and Luz Valdez. After the unveiling, Chair Rachel expressed her appreciation towards board member Gloria Sevilla for her efforts in making this dedication towards the renowned actress possible.
