SPEEd Celebrates 8th Anniversary with an 'Outreach Program' in Bulacan

"Love cannot remain by itself — it has no meaning. Love has to be put into action and that action is service." – Mother Teresa.

FOR a more significant celebration of the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd) 8th anniversary, the group once again held an outreach program last Friday, July 7.

SPEEd, led by its president Eugene Asis (People's Journal), along with other officers and members, visited and donated to two charitable institutions in Bulacan.

The association of entertainment editors in the Philippines first visited Bethany House Sto. Niño Orphanage in Guiguinto, Bulacan that cares and provides protection to children who no longer have family or relatives.

After this, SPEEd went to the Emmaus House of Apostolate located in Malolos, Bulacan where 60 abandoned men and women live and are cared for.

Aside from financial assistance, some of the help that the group have received are food and medical supplies, cleaning materials, vitamins, adult diapers, and other items that can be used for daily needs.

Partnering with SPEEd Outreach 2023 are Ms. Rhea Anicoche-Tan of Beautederm and BlancPro, Ms. Cris Roque of Kamiseta, Unilab Corporation and Pascual Laboratories.
